While their name is a nod to the pond where the village children used to fish, the DRUIDS' music draws its inspiration from darker realms. It's the realm of stories whispered among elders and the secrets of those country roads where walking alone at night is forbidden.
THE DRUIDS advance masked beneath their monk's robes to better cover their tracks, navigating the murky waters of garage punk and stoner rock as easily as those of shoegaze and psychedelia. In their black masses drenched in fuzz and reverb, they invoke BLACK SABBATH, THE STOOGES, JOY DIVISION, and the 13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS.
