KLOBBER are a multinational band of the few faithful to the most classic punk rock in the style of 1977. Formed in 2010 in Madrid at the mythical Rock Palace by Mike (vocals and guitar) from USA, Gordon (guitar) from Scotland, Humphrey (drums) from England and Alberto (bass) from Madrid. His main influences are obvious: 1977; with CLASH, PISTOLS, DAMNED ...); the first American hardcore punk; UK 82 Oi! and some black music.
They have shared the stage with many of their idolized bands: DISCHARGE, COCKNEY REJECTS, CHELSEA, PETER AND THE TEST TUBE BABIES, LOS PEPES, CRISIS, SLAUGHTER AND THE DOGS
Their discography so far consisted of two albums and a 7 "shared with the aces of American punk rock and roll, ELECTRIC FRANKENSTEIN.
With "Clap Time!", their 3º LP, they have recorded their best work to date, 10 hymns that could well have written in their best times, some of their idolized groups such as COCKNEY REJECTS, THE CLASH, CIRCLE JERKS or SLF. Sounding like the aforementioned groups, but with a more powerful and up-to-date sound, recorded in the La chulona studios in Madrid. The artistic work is carried out by Mario Feal.
From the hymn that opens the album "Only in it for the beer" to "Borrachos again" that closes it, we are facing one of the best punk albums on the international scene.
